Welcome! I am honored to serve as the new Assistant Principal to the students of Vidalia Upper Elementary for the school term 2017-2018. I strongly believe that all children are important and should be given the opportunity to succeed. I believe that a “teacher affects eternity; he/she can never tell where his influence stops” Henry Adams Brooks.
Over the last 10 years, I have served Concordia Parish students as a 9-12th grade History Teacher and many other important roles. I look forward to my new journey with my 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
My professional credentials include a Bachelors of Art in Secondary Education with a concentration in History and Social Studies from Southern University & A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. I received my Masters of Science degree in Educational Administration from University of Scranton, Scranton, PA. I also completed 27 additional post-graduate hours in School Counseling from the University of the Southwest, Hobbs, New Mexico.
I have dedicated myself to constantly learning students and finding ways to make all students successful, therefore I strongly believe in working closely to build relationships with students, parents and community members. Lastly, I look forward to working with Mrs. Jana Lincecum and everyone in the district to make this school term a great one!
